Stinging mouthfeel from the high carbonation. Flavor is more granny smith apple, belgian yeast, and finishes dry. This is a light and refreshing beverage.

A pretty, golden beer with slight haziness, very highly carbonated. It tastes like a sharp, carbonated apple juice. It is tart and abrupt, but a very unique experience.
Unibroue is a great brewing company, but the Ephemere with apples is not their best. I had an Ephemere in the past, i think it was cranberry?, and it was a mucn more pleasant experience. tympanic (55), Alabama, USA

Crispy, fizzy, refreshing, fine. This came in a Unibroue sampler pack, but I wish I had a whole pack of Éphémère Apple to enjoy tonight. Happy New Year 2010! dagimp (139), Philly, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2009 From a 12oz bottle into a snifter. Great candy-sour apple and yeast smell! About an inch of bubbly-cloudy head which slowly dissipates leaving no lacing. Mouthfeel is very light, like drinking a pale ale. Taste is doughy and grassy. Green apple is present along with some powdered sugar. Lightly floral and citrusy but there doesn’t seem to be much hop presence. Lots of carbonation gives rise to a floral taste. Overall, a very good beer which doesn’t try to do too much. It’s light and easy drinking with a noticable but not strong apple taste. That being said, I’d like a little more apple flavor and possible a little additional sourness too. If this were turned into an actual Sour with a little more apple flavor, it’d be out of this world. As it is, I still highly recommend it. Rciesla (3905), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Draft from High Street Grill. Poured a hazy golen body with lots of clinging carbonation. Aroma was green apples, yeast and grain. Very bubbly carbonation on the mouthfeel. Flavors of yeast and grains with green apple present but to a lesser extent then the aroma. Drinkable and enjoyable especially for someone just getting into craft beer.
