A damn fine fruit beer if you’re into this sort of thing. I’m not, but I could be. This appley brew demanded to be paired with cheese, but I had no cheese. Worse still, I don’t know enough about cheese to know what kind of cheese would go best with it anyway. Damn, I need some cheese.

popped cork and a fabulous apple aroma sprayed up and raped my nostrils. in an etched glass, the head is full and white and remains. colour is a cloudy, diluted gold. first impression of the taste is very crisp. such a fresh beer.

Draft from High Street Grill. Poured a hazy golen body with lots of clinging carbonation. Aroma was green apples, yeast and grain. Very bubbly carbonation on the mouthfeel. Flavors of yeast and grains with green apple present but to a lesser extent then the aroma. Drinkable and enjoyable especially for someone just getting into craft beer.

330ml bottle. Pale and light honey colour with a volcanic head of crisp, crackling white foam. Lively and well carbonated with a brilliant green apple aroma. Crisp and clean with a light flavour which was less than expected given the strong apple aroma. Well balanced and quite drinkable.

In bottle; amazing aroma of green apple. Taste was milder/lighter in body than I expected with notes of apple; quite dry, not hoppy at all. My wife does not drink beer at all but did enjoy this one

On tap back in April 2009. Cloudy yellow gold brew with a decent 1" white cap that fades to a ring. The aroma was pretty interesting just for its uniqueness. Similar to Pop Shoppe Pineapple pop, very fragrant. Lemon, orange rind, unnaturally fresh crab apple skin - sweet but perfect for me, real apple (nothing fake about it). A very complicated aroma, very fragrant. First sip gave a long dry finish before my brain could concentrate on the flavour. Candy with a bite. Nothing too amazing but it does have a fairly unique taste. SOme yeast, real apple, noticeable spice that is sort of peppery but mostly on the ’feel’, nears a sour quality. Light and bubbly, dryness continues from first sip to the last. Despite all that, this brew just didn’t do it for me. On tap was a lot better than in the bottle but didn’t warrant another pint.

Bottle pours a loght yellow straw-like color with a decent white head. Aroma is of green apple, cloves, and cinnamon. Green applel taste is subtle from what you would expect. Finish is tart and bitter with a hint of cloves. The finish is more of what you would expect from a belgian ale. Interesting mix of flavors and style.
