Smells wonderful, very strong green apple fragrance but surprisingly only a hint in the taste. Beautiful golden cloudy color, opaque through the glass, with a slightly off-white head that disappears rather fast. Bubbly and refreshing, quite tasty as I find all Unibroue beers so far.

Bottle pours a loght yellow straw-like color with a decent white head. Aroma is of green apple, cloves, and cinnamon. Green applel taste is subtle from what you would expect. Finish is tart and bitter with a hint of cloves. The finish is more of what you would expect from a belgian ale. Interesting mix of flavors and style.

Bottle at dinner with friends. Pours a hazy, straw color with a foamy white head that settles slowly. Faint lacing. Fragrant apple aroma, not overpowering. Crisp green apple flavor. Not bad, not overly sweet and fruity like I was expecting.

Bottle: Huge apple aroma as soon as the cap was popped. Pours a dull yellow color with a sizeable creamy white head. Smells rich with granny smiths, cinnamon, and cloves. Taste is not nearly the apple fruity spritzer that I had anticipated. More mature fruits, apple, earthy, and malty taste. Seems like some overripe apples too. Unsettling.

Tangy, tangy, tangy! Top 5 of the most aromatic beers I’ve ever had, but I suppose that’s half the point of this beer. A wonderful yeasty nose with bubble gum and sour apple. The aroma never died. Reminded me of fresh Cantillon lambic, although sweeter and not as dry. Flavor mirrored the nose, quite tangy with no artificial or forced flavors. Only issue I had was the long finish; long after I’d finished the beer it felt as if I’d had a sour apple candy, and candy-like was not at all my experience of this beer.

Aroma of apple and some coriander. Appearance is cloudy gold with short lived head. Flavor has some apple, but also some pineapple and cherry, with coriander mixed in as well. One reviewer compared this to a cider, but I thought it was more like a Belgian Ale with some lively fruits. The palate was pretty lively as well. Overall, a pretty good beer, not overly fruity, but not non-intrusive either.

Pours a crystal clear dark golden color. Nice big head that dissipates rather quickly. Minimal foamy lacing, almost non-existant. Smells like yeasty sugarcakes, topped with apples and cotton candy. Apple smell is natural, not artificial. Big funky Belgian-like yeast notes. Spicey notes of coriander. Espscially after the way this smells, I expected the apple to be more prominent. It’s very subdued and mellow. Tastes very much like a ’light’ cider with a little extra body. Smells wonderful, but misleads you to the point of being disappointed by the actual flavor. Feels similar to an ale, in body. Light and crisp, yet mantains a slight touch of creaminess. At only 5.5% abv, there is nothing here to draw me back. If I have an urge for something like this, I’d rather have a cider.

Golden pour with aroma of apples with a quickly dying white head. Apple taste with high carbonation. Pretty good. I like this one.
