Bottle Pours a golden orange with a fluffy white head which leaves a good lacing. Aroma is spicy yeast and fruits. Has a good mouthfeel and good carbination. Has a smooth taste well blended and not strong. A decent aftertaste. Overall a very good beer.

Bottle. Dark golden color, semi hazy. Complex aroma of belgian yeast, spices, sweetnes and dry white wine. Elegant taste. Spices and honey with a hoppy bitterness in aftertaste. Well balanced and smooth (like all Unibroue brews seems to be),

Since I have started drinking beer, out of everything I’ve had, this has by far become my favorite. So consistently good, I keep coming back to it. Poured from a 12 oz. brown bottle into a regular pint glass. Smells of yeast and fruit. Brilliant reddish-orange color with thick, frothy white head. The mouth feel is full, but alcohol is not dominant, if even noticeable, which is surprising for a beer with 9%. It tastes yeasty with hints of sweet fruits and a slight but brilliant bite from the hops to balance it out. Just indescribable. So much going on in this beer. Perfection in a glass.

Bottled. Pours opaque honey with a foamy white head that quickly subsides and laces somewhat. Aroma is spicy yeast, banana-strawberry, hay, and slightly phenolic. Flavor is sweet yeast-clove, banana-strawberry and apple fruity, citric, slightly mandarin orange and woody. Due to multiple fermentations, which I have experimented with, the palate is a lighter and densely carbonated throughout giving a creamy feel but also a slight bite and lasting oily tingle atop the tongue. Not as good as a Golden Monkey.

Slightly hazy golden honey color. Thin whitish cover. Aroma is very yeasty, spicy, bananas and cloves, biscuits. Taste is spicy again, yeasty breadiness, sweet with a nice light fruit note.

Hazy golden color with a huge, fluffy white head that lasts forever. Nice lacing too. Taste is sweet and spicy like bannanas, cloves, oranges, and maybe a touch of honey. Alcohol is well-hidden and the palate is smooth with lively carbonation. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

Poured a deep golden color with orange hues. The head was white and fluffy. The aromas were so inviting! The backbone was really sweet yeast with scents of honey, oranges, and alcohol all melding together perfectly! The flavor was strong on the honey flavor, but the palate was very nice. Nice carbonation and easy to drink.

750 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours murky yellow with a small head. Aroma of strong fruity/citrus along with some yeast. Flavour a citrus and yeast along with some spice, finishes nice. Overall a great beer.
