| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 23, 2009 One of my favorite beers. Golden orange pour from 12oz bottle. Citrus, spices and a nice balance of yeast. 9%abv gives it just enough kick without being overpowering. Excellent beer! TheDoctor (32), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 16, 2009 Pours a hazy orange with a small white head that dissolved rather quickly. The aroma is on the sweet side with clove, banana, and light spices. The flavor is similar with some noticeable alcohol. The mouthfeel is creamy and frothy with some prickly carbonation. Has a slightly warm, crisp finish. Not bad, but I think its a bit past its prime. crackedmachine (83), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2009 Cloudy yellow-orange with a light-medium white head. Aroma of yeast and citrus. Flavor is distinctly sweet and bitter with some alcohol in the finish. The sweetness comes on a little too strong, leaving a briefly cloying taste at the end. Decent, but not among my favorite tripels.
