Sep 12, 2008 Pours a hazy orange colour with a thick white head that wears out pretty quick. Nose is very much yeasty and a little bit spicy, like bananas and cloves. Taste is fairly sweet with some very nice lemony notes, and a fair bit of the same banana kind of stuff present in the nose. Very smooth drinking, and plenty creamy. Carbonation is spot on. Not a bad beer by any stretch.

Pours a nice creamy, rapidly collapsing head, pleasant pale, slightly cloudy yellow...nose rather mild, yeasty, citrus, bit of spice, especially clove...tastes of yeast, citrus, ? lemon primarily, malt sweetness, and a mildly bitter finish. A really nice subtly balanced beer. Somewhat later the empty glass smelled of heather honey, a wonderful added aroma.

Sep 3, 2008 Pours milky peach with lots of head, some lacing. Aroma is very yeasty, banana, black pepper, citrus hops like orange glazed dinner rolls. Flavor is hearty but candy like, lemon heads, banana bread, cloves, sweet anise, a little bitter hops and root beer maltiness to finish. Mouthfeel’s a little thin for a triple but not a bad beer all around.

Sep 2, 2008 Pours a darker orange color, aroma is yeasty and sweet, with alcohol present, taste of peppery clove and other spices, aforementioned fruits, and sweet malts on the finish....one of my fav beers.

Sep 1, 2008 Pours hazy gold with white head that doesn’t stick around. Slight banana aroma over hops. Nice crisp banana-bubblegum flavor with a decent amount of carbonation and a definite alcohol kick. Good balance and the lacing, as usual for Unibroue, is amazing.

Sep 1, 2008 Very nice, malty, banana-like aroma. Fairly thick head, pours an opaque gold color. Delicious taste, predominantly fruity, masks the alcohol fairly well for this style. A bit too carbonated for my taste. Usually tripels are too strong for me, but this one is incredibly balanced, an all around great drink.
