Jul 4, 2008 Pours a very light yellow color and gives off a huge clove like nose. More carbonated than many Belgians that I have had bur good nonetheless. It also has a sugary sweet note to it with a sharp bitterness at the end

Jul 1, 2008 12 oz bottle, as i poured into a glass cup i can already smell the fruity character of the beer with a hint of clove, a pale hazy color, with a very fine foamy head reaching at about two fingers in thickness, a fine crisp feel and a fruity taste of tangerine, apricot, liquorish, and some spiciness. a strong but not over powering taste of alcohol. dry finish with a lasting bitter bite. great beer!

Jun 30, 2008 75cl bottle shared with larryLSB. Hazy golden orange color with a lasting white head. The aroma is yeasty and quite fruity with lots of tangy apricot and tangerine. The flavor is also yeasty, with some of that apricot sweetness, some citric tartness and alcohol. There is definitely some spiciness too. Full-bodied with lively carbonation. When I added the yeast at the end, the alcohol really smoothed out and this became a very nice tripel.

Jun 29, 2008 Golden in color with nice white head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity. Tastes of a triple and a strong golden ale. Crisp, slightly tart with a mile hop bite (or is that the prickliness of the carbonation?) but the fruity notes play a more prominent role in this beer.

Jun 28, 2008 Sampled during Cellar’s Wine & Spirits Wednesday evening tasting via Unibroue representative. Pours a hazy golden pale brew with a thick white head that slowly dissipates. Aroma of sweet golden malt, yeast, some cloves, mild spice and a touch of pineapple. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of semi-tart fruit, golden grain malt, yeast and a touch of banana. Finish is semi-sweet with a tart fruit and yeast aftertaste.
