Lots of carbonation. Frothy, carbonated white head. Taste is also reminiscent of a weissbier. Slight citrus with spice. Aroma is sweet with similar accents. Seems light for a tripel. Very easy to drink. mattmc1973 (302), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA

Aroma of malt, yeast, apple, citrus...very sweet smell. Taste is sweet with a crisp, dry finish. Light to medium bodied, with fizzy mouthfeel. A very good non-Belgian tripel, a great example of the style. Tasty! fluffy (229), Florida, USA

Hazy pour, not much head, aroma of bananas and fruit. Very nice mouthfeel, nice finish. One of the best of Unibroue. JAXSON (232), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Inital fruity aromas, tropical fruit, pineapples, pretty yeasty. Really nice, creamy on the palate, alot of fruits, with a soft, gentle washing effect that I can’t describe. Some sweet banana bread fights through the mangos, peaches, and spices. Very nice. elihapa (1044), Honolulu, California, USA

Pours a muddy peach color that is cloudy (I assume it is unfiltered?). Smell that hits you is a sweet, fruity one, which might be effectively reproduced by mixing lemon peel, coriander, orange, grass and cotton candy. This beer is strongly carbonated, has a fairly light body (for an Abbey Tripel), and contains minimal traces of 9% alcohol. Strong rum fruit-cake flavor, along with banana and clove. I found the flavor to build as this beer warmed, and that trademark unibroue fruitcakiness stayed in my mouth well after the gulp. Memorable beer, but still not quite my cup of tea; I prefer Ommegang’s Belgians. gam (1081), brisbane, Australia
