Cloudy, very pale tan color with a foamy white head. Aroma of yeast, spiced citrus and dough. Flavor is malt and citrus with a complex blend of allspice, cloves and nutmeg coming in, finished off with a hit of cinnamon. Sparkling carbonation but still very smooth with a nice medium body. A big bottle at 9% ABV so you’d better have some rats to share it with (or people, if you’re into that).

its been a while since i had this beer, but i remember it being really good. it has something like 9% by volume, so a bomber will get you feeling pretty good. i cant say too much about its flavor since it was so long ago but its good.

Poured a hazy apricot color with a firm two fingers of head that falls slowly leaving scattered lace. The nose was variations of citrus. Grapefruit, orange and lemon with bready malt and spice beneth. The taste started malty, almost doughy then came subtle citrusy hops of gapefruit and orange. A spiciness rounded off the finish with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and a smidge of pepper. Nicely complex. This was a very smooth, warming ale, full of body. Its very drinkable, however it’s 9% ABV. will put you on your ass fast.

A- Pours a deep golden color with a huge eggshell white head. Lots of carbonation bubbles are present. S- Smells of Belgian yeast, spicy, funk, and a sweetness. T- Taste is very spicy and semi sweet. Mixed lighter fruits and a bit of alcohol are present. A bit cloying. M- Medium viscosity with a good amount of carbonation. Sticks to the inside of the mouth. D- I know lots of other people like this beer but I just don’t dig it. For me the funk and sweetness combined with the stickiness makes it less than drinkable.

Bottle. Poured a hazy orange color with a lasting white head that left a bit of lace behind. The aroma was citrus-dominated with a hint of alcohol. Lots of oranges. Sweet on the tongue with citrus and light clove flavors. Much fruitier than I had expected, but a pretty good beer.

Bottle. Cloudy golden with small white head. Fruity aroma of orange zest and spicy notes. Flavour is sweet with a nice balance of malts and spices. Smooth palate and the alcohol is hidden well. Top brew.
