nate2g (1034), Brisbane, Australia Apr 24, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy golden with small white head. Fruity aroma of orange zest and spicy notes. Flavour is sweet with a nice balance of malts and spices. Smooth palate and the alcohol is hidden well. Top brew. blipp (1631), Newark, New Jersey, USA Apr 23, 2008 Bottle pours cloudy orange with sediment and a fluffy white head. Aroma is fruity, peach, orange, and spicy, cinnamon maybe. Nice medium smooth body. Flavor is sweet with more peach and orange, also clove and nutmeg. Finish is dry. Very nice. vikasdesai (15), USA Apr 22, 2008 Updated: Jun 4, 2008absolutely terrific beer, fruity tasting easy to drink , remarkable that it has 9% alcohol, this one of the best examples of a belgian i’ve tried, i wish it was better distributed. hoppopotamus (182), Santa Cruz, California, USA Apr 21, 2008 A hazy golden beer with a modest white head that doesn’t last too long. The aroma is definitely that of belgian yeast, with spice and a hint of spicy noble hops. Some fruity notes as well. The flavor reminds me of a wheat beer, not unlike Don de Dieu, with some citrusy notes and an overall sweetness, but of course more intense and with a stronger malt base and definite belgian influence. A little alcohol heat on the finish. Quite bubbly on the tongue. IlanMan (816), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Apr 20, 2008 Updated: Apr 22, 2008This was declicious. Pour was medium hazy golden with thick but short lasting white head. Aroma is of sweet yeasty esters with spice. The spices are blended quite well balancing with the floral and fruity characters. Definitely a tasty brew. Would buy again. esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Apr 20, 2008 Hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma of yeast, mixed fruit and spice. Taste is smooth and sweet with orange, banana evident. Perhaps a little too sweet but decently balanced. Alcohol is barely noticeable. Bhops (329), Dallas, Texas, USA Apr 19, 2008 nice tripel. From bottle. Doesn’t mask alcohol to well in either flavor or aroma, but hey, it’s a tripel. Stong fruitiness/maltiness. daknole (2805), Plantation, Florida, USA Apr 19, 2008 This is a high quality beer. Nice aroma and flavors of yeast, fruit and good hops to balance. I like this beer!!
