Liked this almost as much as Trois. The aroma was great, dried fruits, cloves, banana. Flavor was also good but not quite to the level of the Trois. Overall, a great beer. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 14, 2008 pours a cloudy really dark yellow with a little orange tint to it, and a 11/2 finger bubbly off white head that disappears quickly. aroma is Belgian yeast, pineapple, and melon. also has a little lemon wheat to it. has a light to medium body with minimal lacing and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma. the Belgian yeast stays on the tongue for a bit and altogether not bad. also the 9% abv is well hidden.
