Hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma of yeast, mixed fruit and spice. Taste is smooth and sweet with orange, banana evident. Perhaps a little too sweet but decently balanced. Alcohol is barely noticeable.

nice tripel. From bottle. Doesn’t mask alcohol to well in either flavor or aroma, but hey, it’s a tripel. Stong fruitiness/maltiness.

Unibroue La Fin Du Monde is an orange beer with a small but everlasting creamy head. The aroms is very sweet with notes of fruit and hints of hops. The flavor is also very sweet with fruit and hints of alcohol. WIth many silimar aromas and flavors to a witbier, orane and corriander, I enjoyed this ale very much.

Entry 99: Unibroue La Fin du Monde ABV: 9% Calories: estimated at 200 C Volume: 12 fl oz Glass: 4 oz goblet Purchased at: The Beer Outlet as part of a Unibroue sampler case @$64 Price: $2.66 Consumed at: home sensory first impression: Very much like champagne. bubbles floating in streams. brilliant and clear with a singular yellowish gold color. Celebratory and beautiful. A very special treat for beer number 99. Aroma: 8 out of 10 Malt Hop Yeast Other flavors include: apple, cider, banana, spices, cinnamon, butter, dry, crisp, sweet. Visuals: 4 out of 5 Color Liquid Head and lace are: a simple color, but brilliantly clear and sparkling, without any head to speak of - great legs but no lace. Taste: 9 out of 10 Malty Sweet Hoppy Bitter Sour flavors are: very sweet, layered fruit and sugars, with a carbonated bite and finish. Might as well be a sparkling wine. Alcohol is expertly hidden. Palate: 5 out of 5 Body Mouthfeel Texture Carbonation Finish are: Very fresh, highly carbonated, crisp, dry and biting. Finish is long and fruity, with ripe aftertaste. Overall experience: 18 out of 20. I liked the flavors, visuals, aroma, and feeling of this beer very much. A very fitting 99th entry.

Part of a blind taste test with Don de Deu and Trois Pistoles. Liked this almost as much as Trois. The aroma was great, dried fruits, cloves, banana. Flavor was also good but not quite to the level of the Trois. Overall, a great beer.

Clear golden of color with a nice white foamy head. An aroma of spice, apricot, dried fruits and sweet hints. A flavor of sweets, spice and fresh fruits.

pours a cloudy really dark yellow with a little orange tint to it, and a 11/2 finger bubbly off white head that disappears quickly. aroma is Belgian yeast, pineapple, and melon. also has a little lemon wheat to it. has a light to medium body with minimal lacing and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma. the Belgian yeast stays on the tongue for a bit and altogether not bad. also the 9% abv is well hidden.
