2004 vintage. Spicy aroma, yeast and fruity esters. Flavor is full of fruit, yeast, spices, citrus, and bubble-gum. Active carbonation in the palate. Solid tripel, but not out of this world.

This was a pretty intersting/nice Tripel. Nice and clean, lots of citrus in the nose with bubblegum, banana and cloves on the velvety push across the tongue. Nice.

Bottle: Poured a dirty blond color with 1 inch solid white head. Aroma is of citrus (orange/lemon). Flavor is something to be desired. Not my first choice and wont be having again.

Color a brilliant orange with pale white head, taste mostly orange, too, one-dimensional really but not necessarily bad. Sweet, not bitter. Some spice. Unoriginal but passable. I have sampled this 2-3 times hoping for more but left somewhat disappointed.

Pours light orange with a large hazy, white and lasting head. Nose of yeast, cinnamon and cloves. Sweet flavour with citrus fruit and notes of coreander. slightly alcoholic finish. Medium bodied. Tasty and complex.

After the satisfying pop of the cork, Fin du Monde pours with an abundant, beautiful and snowy head. Then is revealed a luxurious and cloudy, pale, old gold color. The nose reveals citrus, flaky wheat, mineral crispness, honey and booze. Fin tastes like a honey pot (without being too sweet), and is an obvious cousin to Belgian big brothers. The minerals continue upon sipping, revealing a solid, fairly approachable experience. There is even something woody, forest like in the drink. It is soft in the mouth and leaves without a hint of bitterness, a clean and satisfying finish all around. Admittedly, I’m a sucker for good beer labels, and this one got me. I want to be at the Fin du Monde with this beer! Delish!
