Aromas of strawberries and bananas, unibroue yeast, coriander and cloves and alcohol. Taste is spicy-alcohol with banana yeast that lingers for a while. A beautiful beer, quebec pride. rlaw (46), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours golden and cloudy with a big foaming head that settles into a thin persistent white band. Banana dominates the aroma (not my favorite characteristic), but there is also some lemon, yeastiness, and even some alcohol. The flavor is far more complex. All the above flavors are there (still a bit too much banana for me), but there are lots of other interesting elements: some spiciness (clove and lots of coriander), a little musty funkiness. It starts a bit sweet and ends quite dry. Very creamy on the tongue. I can appreciate this, but it’s not my favorite set of flavors. Ron (1008), Rochester, New York, USA

Pretty good tripel but a bit too spicy for my taste. it’s very pleasant though with nice flavors of oranges and well integrated alcohol, a smooth body. beernovice39 (256), South Carolina, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 13, 2009 Had a bad day at work and this was a great beer!!!! Pours pale with white head. Complex aroma and the taste is just as complex and cleverly disguised the alcohol! Thank you Canada! phaleslu (461), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 11, 2009 Draft. Pours hazy golden orange with frothy off white head that hangs around for the ride. Such a complex aroma and flavor, there’s no way I can justify what this brings to the table. Aroma of citrus, alcohol, spice, yeast, banana. Flavor includes all of the above and then some bread and more that I need to put my finger on in later tastes. The alcohol is definitely there but mostly hidden by the flavors. Complex, tasty, and enjoyable- fun to drink and discuss, and even more fun once the 9% ABV catches up. grebs (71), Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2009 An intensely flavorful, complex beer. The flavor is intensely varied and you’ll note different flavors as you continue drinking and as it warms. Alcohol becomes more prevalent near the end of the glass. Otherwise, the typical flavors you’d expect are here: spice, clove, some citrus notes. Also some darker fruit notes near the end. A very interesting Canadian tripel.
