Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 27, 2006 An orange beer with sediment floating around underneath an off-white head. The aroma is very sweet with strong fruity notes, like peaches, oranges, and grapes, but also with notes of yeast and a dusty hop note. The flavor is sweet, though more mellow than the aroma, with notes of fruit, again peaches, but now the alcohol mixes in together with lighter notes of over ripe apricot, wood, and sirup. The end is somewhat dry and spicy (coriander and cloves) but still with a lot of fruit, before the alcohol starts burning down the throat and in the cheeks. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 15, 2005 Updated: Jun 14, 2005(Bottle 75 cl) Another Triple from Unibroue?? They seem to love the style... Orangey golden, hazy beer with a huge head and - again - lot’s of carbonation. Probably the bottle fermentation adds to the CO2. Pronounced yeasty notes in both nose and aromas.
