(33 cl bottle from Systembolaget, ordering section) Hazy orange color, small white head. Spicy yeasty fruity choriander scent. Spritzy sweet yeasty taste, acidic. Sweet aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Also apricot aroma.

An Excellent trippel. I havent had many trippels but it is the best I’ve had so far. Very strong in alcohol- yet it is only slightly noticable in the aroma. Many spices in the aroma including coriander, clove, pepper, and maybe cumin. Awesome appearance! Nice golden hazy look with a medium head. (must drink in the propper belgian glass) Fizzy and carbonated but not overly so- which makes it more drinkable. Reminds me somewhat of a delerium tremens but this is much much better. Lots of belgian biscuit and aromatic malts in the flavor to balance out all the spices. I’m assuming some hallertau or saaz was used but in moderation. Yeasty, almost breadlike taste and aroma comes through very well, but is not overbearing. As it warmed, a little more bubblegum flavors came through in the flavor. The beginnign flavor is sweet yet slightly acidic, but the finish leaves you wanting another sip. One of the best belgians from one of the most diversified and distinguished Brewery of Belgian Ales

(Re-Rate) I try to like this beer, hence my third re-rate. I was rather harsh the first couple of times and I am learning to appreciate ’La Fin du Monde’. Pours a thin pearly white head with a slightly cloudy, straw body. Looks beautiful. Thick carbonation. Aroma of lemon, honey and yeast. Bold and powerful dry taste. Getting to like you! (Original) Its like openning a bottle of turpentine. With all the alcohol in this beer it is hard to taste anything else. Originator to the term: Death by 6-pack. I can’t fathom why Unibroue makes this when they have so many excellent Quebec products. (Score 1.9)

Bottle from Londis, Goring and had this last night 30-01-08 Pours murky golden and with tiny yeast floaters flying around, this stuff literally explodes from the bottle, aroma is very sweet and so is the taste like sucking on a stick of toffee initially but it gets better, alcohol is ever present but spiciness starts to show. Unfortunately the sweetness becomes a bit of an issue for me otherwise this has a lot in it’s favour.

Bottled, Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy golden. Starts off weakly but slowly it explodes into an orgie of sweet oranges. Rich malty. Lingering finish.
