Still damn good, tastes have just refined a bit in the last two years. Original 4.0 Second of the Unibroue's that I have tried - even though it has 9% ABV - it hides it well. Clean, fresh, fruity aroma, bubbly, champagne-like appearance. Good mouthfeel - wakes your tastebuds up with its crispness and spiciness. ogivlado (3088), Zagreb, Croatia

Honey coloured, foamy white head, perfumy pistaccio ice cream nose. Yeasty and fruity(orange, peach) aroma with nice peppery(coriander) notes. Tastes like mild version of Tripel Karmeliet. hughie (3076), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Apr 25, 2007 This is wonderful beer. Its muddy gold appearance and grey sediment doesn’t do it justice. The aroma is multi-faceted: carrot, salt, butter, soft cheese, yeast, honey, treacle tart. Something new every time you go back to your glass. Taste is sweet, yeasty, sour, leathery, fruity. Banana, creme caramel, malt: the pleasures are endless. As I rate I still have another three centimetres to enjoy... GeneralGao (3071), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Bottle. Poured a hazy orange color with a lasting white head that left a bit of lace behind. The aroma was citrus-dominated with a hint of alcohol. Lots of oranges. Sweet on the tongue with citrus and light clove flavors. Much fruitier than I had expected, but a pretty good beer. Smell is light and yeasty. The taste is sweet and relatively mild. Good drinkable brew. Quite nice overall. Thanks Liz. Jukkabro (3039), Tampere, Finland
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Huge white head. Rich spiced and yeasty aroma, some licorice and orange here also with some added sugar note, man this is good aroma. Medium bodied, surprisingly watery palate. After excellent aroma flavor is rather thin with still spices and dry hops, aftertaste turns to dry and fruity with mild alcohol. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 28, 2003 Cloudy yellow golden color, medium white frothy head. Spicy aroma. More spicy and belgina triple-like than the Eau Benite. Alcohol hardly noticeable. Very good beer!
