A hazy yellow orange color. Aroma is fruity apricots, oranges, tangerines, and peach, as well as yeast and spice. Flavor is those fruits, some clove, some spice, some alcohol, some mildewy flavors. Drinkable, fruity, and v ery carbonated.

This didn't drink to 9%. Big white head on a clear, slightly off-amber body. There is something grape underneath this, and the perfuming aroma develops as it warms. Very good palate, frothing and drinkable, and a nice yeasty, unalcoholic, fruity, spicy, sweet, complex set of flavors. A nice, classic Unibroue interpretation.

Pours cloudy gold with a white head that disappears quickly. Looks a lot like a hefeweizen, actually. Smells of roasted grain and a little malt, plus some alcohol. Mellow at first, with a salty hop flavor, then a sweet grainy flavor. It seems a bit sloppy in the carbonation, as well. Has a dry, long aftertaste.

Bottle; Yeasty, spicy nose with a hint of caramelly sweetness; hazy gold with a huge, long-lasting white head; sweet fruity, flavor with some cloves; alcohol seems well covered.

I am lucky enough to consider this one of my table beers. I just love La Fin du Monde and consider it the flagship beer of the Unibroue brewery. It rivals many Belgian beers of similar style. It’s got a sublime mouthfeel. The yeast is that distinct one that can seem sweet to some. At times when I drink it the beer seems too sticky-sweet but other times not, so it might depend on factors like food, etc. It’s complex and fun to drink, although can sit heavy in the belly. That doesn’t detract from points though, because that is just the nature of a beer like this. There is a lot of banana and all those tropical-like smells and flavors. But what more needs to be said about this much-loved beer? It deserves accolades and must be one of the best of its type brewed in the New World.

33 cl Bottle. Yellow to orange in colour, nice white head. A little sour in the aroma, and some fruit. Great flavour, with a god mouthful and hint of apples.

High in alcohol content, this tripel packs a strong punch; Rather complex, with an initial maltiness being quickly replaced by a spicy, coriander flavor and a fairly strong sweetness, and the coriander dominating the finish; Only a mild bitterness; Kind of an odd musty aroma at first, but a quick second sniff is spicy and sweet; Highly carbonated beer which foams up in the glass and in your mouth; Yellowish golden in color and quite cloudy; Fine sediment is suspended in the beer; Off-white head is huge with very large bubbles, and dies down to reasonable levels fairly quickly

12oz. Bottle: Aroma is heavily sweet. Smells of orange, spices, citrus fruit, and yeast. Poured golden/orange with a huge, foamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Very good lacing. Very cloudy. Tons of particles. Flavor is heavily sweet. Tastes of citrus fruits, oranges, peaches, yeast, coriander and cloves. Medium body. A little thick. Lively carbonation. Long finish tastes sugary and of spices. Overall, tasty but I prefer a bitter brew.
