Sour cherry aroma after pouring sediment. Nice white foamy lacing head atop slightly cloudy butterscotch-orange liquid. Medium effervescence - light on the tongue. Medium silky watery body. Lightly sweet but it sticks with you in the finish and after. Citrus, wheat, yeast and small pleasant bitterness. Fruity sweet in the back of the throat. A little alcohol. A little more bitterness after pouring sediment. Nice beer. Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA

Flavor was sweet and sour. Also some candy flavor. Acidic at first on the palate but it the end it was smoother going down the hatch. Alcohol seamed to be hidden in this beer. Been avioding it in the frige because of content. Well it will probly kick me in the hindend later. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Different from some of the others, though, is that this gives a kick at the end, in which you can definitely the 9%. Good stuff. pivo (2537), Germany
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 3, 2003 Fruit highlighted nose of oranges and a little spicy too. Rich gold colr and a huge rocky spongy head. Apricot-like maltiness, like french-vanilla ice cream. Full body and a creamy texture. Alcohol is pretty well hidden, but there is a pleasant throat-warming effect. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 26, 2003 Crazy light pale blonde colour with a brilliantly white thick head. The colour is unusually light for a tripel, but would look good for a belgie white. Aroma of wheat, yeast, corn and bananas. Once again, more of a white style than a tripel. Good thick mouthful, and pretty sharp initially...yeast, sugars and spices make up the taste. The palate is pretty drying, some of the hop characteristics come out in the aftertaste, but thats about it. Basically, a big let-down, and yet another by Unibroue. I had a 750 mL bottle purchased at Southtown Beverage in Rochester, New York. GregClow (2499), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 7, 2004 Slightly hazy golden-blonde colour with a moderate white head. Aroma is peppery, yeasty and a little citric. Firm, complex flavour with notes of yeast, oranges, pepper, malt, caramel and spices. Hides its alcohol content very well indeed. Compared to some of Unibroue's more "exotic" offerings, like Terrible and 10 and 11, it may seem simple, but there's a lot of good things going on in this beer. kramer (2495), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 21, 2006 12 oz bottle. Pours a very cloudy orange body after swirling the bottom third of the bottle with a fluffy white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma with lots of wheat, bubblegum, alcohol, and pepper. Intense fruity and alcoholic flavors over sweet malt, spices and yeast. Mouthfeel is full bodied and chewy in consistency. Intense fizzy classic Unibroue style carbonation. A nice enjoyable "classic" of the Unibroue lineup. I could do with a little more of a subtle alcohol apparency though. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 28, 2005 Pours cloudy golden with a white fluffy head and not much lace. Aroma is citrus and coriander some fruits and white bread. Flavor is corriander, some orange peel, grapes, sweet malts. Very complex and quite intrigiuing. The palate is medium bodied but very carbonated and extremely smooth. The spice wins out overall on the palate but it is very blended. A fantastic brew. I truly enjoyed this one..
