Bottle pours pale yellow, almost witbier like, hazy, quite carbonated, large bubbley white head, with spotty lacing.   Zesty aroma, spicy, floral sweetness, with bit of light fruit like zing.   Minor whisps of alcohol.   Citrus peel or corriander based flavor on first sip.   Cloves as well.   Zesty and spicy, quite tasty.   Full body, medium but spritzy mouthfeel.   Finishes with lingering spices.   Very zesty, and very delicious!

Pours with a slightly hazy golden body topped by a thick rocky white head with good lacing. Slightly sweet and fruity (banana) aroma with a yeasty accent and lemony and spicy notes. Slightly sweet and fruity (banana) flavor with notes of clove and lemon and a touch of yeasty bread. The finish is slighlty sweet and spicy from clove. Medium to full bodied and slighlty tingly yet smooth and refreshing.

Insanely active head. Big airy foam. It was difficult to pour it softly enough to keep it under control, but from the taste and the lack of foamy at opening, it wasn’t infected. Aroma is lemon on top of apricots. Light lemony/apricot flavor that rides on a noticeable malt backbone. Has a little of the cottony mouthfeel but not enough to hurt the drinkability. Probably the best Belgian golden ale I’ve tried.

A nice Canadian version of a Belgian style beer. The alcohol taste was strong on this one, but the flavor beneath revealed a nice sweetness with a touch of orange. The beer was a cloudy lemon color. The head was appreciable, and the bottom of the bottle poured with small solids into the glass (orange rinde?). A very likeable beer with great flavor.

Bottle. Pours burnt orange with thick white head. Looks kind of like an orange soda. Yeasty aroma with a hint of spice, and a smooth but sour taste, reminding me of grapefruit. Not an every day beer, but a good experience nevertheless.

Bottle: Poured a golden beer with a huge bubbly head with average retention. Aroma is a mix between something sweet which might be candi sugar and wheat. Taste is very refreshing with again a nice mix of candi sugar, wheat and something a bit spicier, which I cannot identify. Body if medium with great carbonation. I truly love this beer even after more then ten years of drinking it. Must be commanded just for helping discovered the fabulous world of beer.

750 mL bottle. Golden amber with champagne bubbles and a fluffy white head. Aroma of pear, honey, and spices. Sticky sweet and lively palate. Tastes of pear, apple, clove, and honey with a smooth finish.
