Pours a cloudy yellow body, with a medium sized fizzy head. Aromas are herbal and fruity, with most of the aroma being the latter. Taste is fruity (citrus) with some subtle spicy notes. Some malt sweetness as well. Leaves a bit of a fruity aftertaste, which only left me wanting more. Cool bottle as always with Unibroue. 9% alcohol? Can’t tell. Well done.

Another great beer we had on Christmas Day. This one looked sort of yellowish and hazy. Poured a HUGE head, almost like champagne. A million bubbles flying to the top. Aroma was citrusy but it was also strong with bubble gum and bananna. Flavor was also of bubble gum and banannas. I thought this was a great beer from a great brewery up in Canada. Well done and highly recommended!

Bottle best before 10-04-08. Hazy dirty dark golden/yellow, tiny bits of sediment everywhere, with decent head from somewhat vigorous pour. Fades to film. Highly carnonated, quick swirl brings back decent amount of head. Aroma is very yeasty, with plenty of fruit. Rotten banana, orange peel, pear, with a certain peach/apricot/mango character to it. Corriander and faint alcohol in the background. Flavor much the same. Big yeasty banana up front, zesty orange peel and corriander taking over through the middle and some more banana in the finish. Banana really comes through as it warms. Even for all the unibroue catbonation, has a great mellow/smooth mouthfeel. Highly sessionable beer though. Not a huge tripel fan, but hard to beat when well done.

Hazy yellow coloured with some carbonation and a small diminishing white head. Very fruity malty and yeasty sweet aroma. Full palate, some sprankling. Finish is sweet bitter, alcoholic (very little burning) and rather heavy. Overall a very nice beer; I really like this one.

(Bottle, thanks Gnoff) Pours hazy orange. Very spicy and citric aroma with lemon, Seville oranges, sourish apples and alot of yeast. Full spicy flavour with coriander and citrus fruits tones. Medium sweet. Spicy, numbing, lingering aftertaste. Rather clean, medium body. A very nice tripel.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold, with a small, but lasting head. The taste is mostly yeast, a slight apple taste, spices, and a bit of alcohol. Very fizzy and alive. Good drink.

bottle. La Fin Du Monde is a hazy caramel/copper shade with a very, very aggressive white head. It’s like smelling a flower garden with cloves, yeast, bananas, baked sweet bread. Flavor is quite well balanced, there’s plenty of banana, some cinnamon, cloves, a bit of carbonic acidity in the finish.

750 ml best before Sept 17, 2010 Pours a cloudy yellow with a very tall white head. The aroma is heavily spiced, but quite natural and not at all cloying. Strong suggestions of clove, coriander, banana, and some tame sourness are apparent. Mouthfeel is lively and appropriate. Really nice tripel here: not overly sweet, yet hearty and spiced with a decently dry finish. It’s quite a complex ale with plenty of depth in its esters.

12oz bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a honey yellow with a white, one-finger head that dissipates quickly but still laces the glass as the beer recedes. Aroma is grass, straw, and citrus with hints of complex spice. Flavor is slightly sweet with a slight spiciness as well. Notes of citrus (mainly orange) and clove as present as well. Somewhat lingering enjoyable finish. One of our favorite tripels and a perennial drinker. . . .
