Carbonated quite a bit, but that’s ok. Alcohol, is present, but not overbearing. Quite refreshing to me, seems almost like a wit beer on acid! Thanks to ebin603 and punkpie for this one! esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma of yeast, mixed fruit and spice. Taste is smooth and sweet with orange, banana evident. Perhaps a little too sweet but decently balanced. Alcohol is barely noticeable. obxdude10 (1563), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2008 Bottle pours a hazy yellow with a typical huge foamy white head and lots of blocky lacing. Musty aroma and o sweet vegetative notes. Light cereal flavors with the yeasty dusty Belgian slant. Livel carbonation and a light body.
Thabks to Jake or sharing this one that somehow escaped me this long.

Dirty straw color. Aromas are of apple, bread, some hops. Sweet apple flavor that yields to a hoppy, malty body with a little bit of alcoholic warmth. Nice. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a thick white head. Aroma is sort of odd, skunky-ish, some spices (clove maybe?). Flavor of a slight yogurt sourness, mint julep, melon, and yeast. A little heavy to drink. Decent tripel though!
