Yeast, spices, apricot and peach in the nose, very fruity aroma and very pleasant.
In the flavor i can taste organge, yeast, spices and a bit alcohol. It warms your mouth and stomach, very carbonated. Very nice... Could drink this one till the end of the world! SamGamgee (1460), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA

The aroma is yeasty and quite fruity with lots of tangy apricot and tangerine. The flavor is also yeasty, with some of that apricot sweetness, some citric tartness and alcohol. There is definitely some spiciness too. Full-bodied with lively carbonation. When I added the yeast at the end, the alcohol really smoothed out and this became a very nice tripel. Citrus fruit and spice complement each other nicely. The mouthfeel is a bit too sharp for me, but all in all, this quite a nice beer, with the familiar Unibroue characteristics. Aromas of banana malt and apple cream. Full nectar w/ ample residual effers. A rich and creamy triple with strong flavors yet not enough lucious sweetness to balance it out. Alcohol flavors are forward. Finish is bittered from the peach pit spectrum. A good ale. KyotoLefty (1447), Kyoto, Japan

Strong citrus in the nose, particularly grapefruit. Yeasty flavor with honey and citrus, slightly somewhat medicinal and a bit too sweet but decent enough for a new world tripel.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 25, 2006 12 oz bottle: pours a hazy yellow gold with a nice sized white head. Lots of distinctly unibroue yeast aromas with a little grapefruit and apple citrus. Earthiness, bread, orange peel, green apples, corriander and yeast are all over my tongue bouncing off with lots of carbonation. The fruity tartness fades to a hint of alcohol in the finish. Very nicely done. robinvboyer (1436), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
