Bottle. Strong citrus in the nose, particularly grapefruit. Yeasty flavor with honey and citrus, slightly somewhat medicinal and a bit too sweet but decent enough for a new world tripel.

an old favourite that got me turning towards great beer. one of unibroue's better tripel style beers with good sweet and spiciness(cardamom? pepper?) and yeasty sloburn finish.

A simply fantastic beer... have had it many times and it is absolutely one of my favorite beers. I would easily place it in my top 10.

Bottle. Aroma of spices, citrus, lots of musty yeast. Flavor the same, so much yeastiness. Definitely a good (or better) beer, but just a little too overwhelming with all the yeast for me.

330 ml bottle. Hazy amber colour. Medium-sized white head that clings to the glass. Aroma is fruity with hints of oxidation and acetaldehyde. Ripe apples. Orange peel. Unlike most other tripels the yeast does not dominate. Nicely balanced flavour. Fruity and definitely on the complex side for a tripel. Some bitterness, but the hops meld nicely with the fruity esters. A classic.

VINTAGE 5 years old. Bought in Dole, France. [Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009, remembered for Carsten BeerMouths fantastic 3 meals highend gastronomy.] Although it’s long time I’ve tasted these brewdrops I remember it as a fantastic olded one with oldfreshed fruits. One of my best triples ever!

Hazy lemon/orange colour, with a creamy off white head, that lingers until the last drop. Another beautiful beer from Unibroue this one has a calming grassy, yeasty smell, that has hints of orange. Heavenly mouth feel, light on the tongue and spicy through the finish. I generally like the belgian double style better than the blone/triple style, but this is one of my favourites of the later.

Very strong IPA taste. Not as prominent as in standard IPA’s, but this Tripel still maintains a lot of hops.
