August oranges fall from the sky as apples turn to luscious cider instantaneously…Shards of caramel nuts and exquisite blades of wheat caress me as they pass by…Raining white pepper…Wondrous malt/hop balance…If this is the end of the world, I feel privileged to relive it again and again…

Pours cloudy yellow/amber with a small head. Tastes of bananas and coriander. Yet another great beer from this great brewer.

Cloudy blonde beer with a good white head and some lacing. Smells of sweet malt, clove, banana. Tastes sweet and yeasty with a bit of citrus. The alcohol is definitely detectable. This is a great beer from Unibroue.

Murky bright yellow color with a large foamy white head. Looks like a wit. Aroma of Dawn dish soap and orange and lemon peel. Nice spicy flavors at first, turning to a more alcoholic and soapy feel mixed with a pleasent wheat taste. Leaves the mouth very spicy and jumpy.

Bottled, 33cl. Orange-golden with some sediments and a small white head. The nose has lots of citrus, mostly grape-fruit, and yeast. The flavor has candi-sugar, citrus, alcohol and bitterness. Finish is bitter and has some alcohol. This is one of the beers I would very much like to have available in Norway. (060422)

Bottled @ DBF2004: Golden coloured. White head. Medium lasting. Malts and some spices in the aroma. Flavour is fruity with notes of malt and alcahol. Has a pleasant alcaholburnt in the end.

On tap at the Maple Tree Inn, La Fin du Monde has a lower level of carbonation than the bottled version, but the taste & aroma hold true. A hazy golden body with a sustained white, frothy head, it greetes you with a mildly fruity aroma. There’s a definite alcohol presence, toffeed malt, with a citric, peppery finish. I like Unibroue. They do interesting, tasty things.

Hazy golden liquid with a moderate sturdy off white head. Drunken oranges marching yeast to the bread factory aroma. Thick feel. Nice background of malt with pepper and chalky yeast flavors. A decent relax and enjoy tipple.
