Deep, cloudy orange-yellow colour with thick white head that recedes slowly with no lacing. Caramel, maple sweetness with a burnt orange flavour and some tartness in the finish. Spritzy effervescence on medium body. Bottle. BBB63 (4238), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 24, 2003 Hazy yellow hue with a thin head and no lace. Aroma of hay fields, herbs, banana, earthy yeast, allspice, tropical fruits, and cotton candy. Smacks down your taste buds with massive sweetness, alcohol, and earthy tones. Follows with an acidic tone which just will not let go. Messy taste, this beer has no idea where it wants to go or be. Some potential, but in the end fails to produce the results I expected. cgarvieuk (4198), Edinburgh, Scotland

Bottle conditioned with its own glass at this delightful bar (The Green Parrot) overlooking Hornfleur harbour. The bar sells 60 different beers from around the world. I’m in heaven! The beer is a hazy dirty orange with soft white mouse top. Soft fresh fruity aroma. A delicate flavour with a gentle mouthfeel leaving a soft spice in the finish. [3.5]
Oct, 2008 330ml bottle conditioned from a supermarket in Marseille. Fruity, yeasty, strong pale ale. Soft, prickly carbonation. Sweet. A bit yeasty, hot and clean for my taste, but drinkable with hints of honey and chocolate. [2.9] Skinnyviking (4157), Copenhagen, Denmark

Hazy yellow body with a good deal of carbonation. Acidic aroma of grapefruit with a touch of spices. Pretty powerful grapefruit like flavour with spicy notes and a hint of the alcohol. Well balanced though. Long and hoppy aftertaste. Skyview (4057), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Pours a hazy golden pale brew with a thick white head that slowly dissipates. Aroma of sweet golden malt, yeast, some cloves, mild spice and a touch of pineapple. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of semi-tart fruit, golden grain malt, yeast and a touch of banana. Finish is semi-sweet with a tart fruit and yeast aftertaste. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2006 12oz bottle, BB10/4/08. Very lively & hazy medium-golden pour with a well-retained, thick white head. Full aroma of peppery spices, cellary yeast, oranges, and bubblegum. Flavor adds vinous notes (Chardonnay) to the menagerie from the aroma, but an emerging alcohol presence appears and is a bit bright on the back half of the drink. Carbonation is excessive, and impedes some flavor development. Very good brew... could just use less bubbly and may benefit from some time in the cellar. Sammy (4030), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Not most flavorful of Unibrou but a good beer to have again. with my mates we thought it merely a good beer. Perhaps the cloves.
