Just like all the unibroue beers, it has a sparkly texture, and is good from start to finish. Different from some of the others, though, is that this gives a kick at the end, in which you can definitely the 9%. Good stuff.

The perfect amount of sweetness. The high alcohol content is well hidden. Carbonation is strong. Definately one of my top choices.

Bottle: Poured a golden beer with a huge bubbly head with average retention. Aroma is a mix between something sweet which might be candi sugar and wheat. Taste is very refreshing with again a nice mix of candi sugar, wheat and something a bit spicier, which I cannot identify. Body if medium with great carbonation. I truly love this beer even after more then ten years of drinking it. Must be commanded just for helping discovered the fabulous world of beer.

Another excellent Unibroue offering. Pours a deep cloudy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of spice and malt. Very smooth and slightly fruity flavor ... sweet and silky on the palate. Great beer.

Pale golden color with bubbles that rise to the top. Slim white head. Sweet aroma. Fruity and malty. Some pepper...malt, orange, some other fruit i can't think of, and some spices. Pretty good brew! Well balanced and all. Bought this bottle at Whole Foods in Vienna , VA.

Bottle: Cloudy yellow, heavy body with a strong and well balanced alcohol level. Slightly sweet and with caramel tones; one great beer.

One of my top 10 favorites. Very smooth and very complex. Surprised when I found it was Canadian, not surprised that it’s from the Unibroue family.

Exciting carbonation activity, a little blow-over followed by a long-lasting meringue-like head. . . Malty aroma, with hints of clove, pepper and coriander. Amber color, cloudy. . . .Malty start with, complex, sweet finish with lots of esters. . . a little prickly, but very smooth. . . . Very tasty Belgian Ale. Quite complex and inviting. Alcohol strength is noticable. find it!
