It pours like a basic American lager until the first scent crosses your nose. One of my favs from Unibroue. This would be my choice "si ’La Fin du Monde’ va arriver quelque jour (en mille ans ou plus....j’espair!)". xav33 (313), Midland, MI, Michigan, USA

12 oz bottle
Slow pour in a tulip glass
Best before 04/08, ended 12/06
Poured a murky amber with a huge white mostly to fully lasting frothy pillow head.
Smelt of moderate bananas, sweet dough, white pepper.
Taste was upfront strong bittersweet raw sweet bread dough with peaches and oranges followed by a pungent sweaty raw dough on an average length finish. Palate was creamy, softly carbonated, medium bodied and light astringency.
Overall, it is unfathomable that this beer is 9% alcohol. The balance is exquisite. Only wish there was more complexity. benpickens (145), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

As the beer warms up the beer gets sweeter and gets even better. I even was a little tipsy in the end, a great beer to start a day with. lucien (42), Argentina

Taste is unique like all unibroue beers. Is it the yeast? Don´t know.. but body in this beer is unique, specially for a 9% alcohol.. you don´t notice. Very good beer. skoll (145), Traverse City, Michigan, USA

Yeasty, bread notes on the nose as well as bananas and some citrus scents. Rounded, full-bodied with yeasty flavors, liight citrus notes; grassy with a spicey clovieness. A very nice beer indeed. This has been one of my favorite triples. Pwn3d (1123), Manhattan, New York, USA

Malty, sweet nose with a loads of yeast to it. Very sweet taste on the tip of the tongue. Very fruity and a nice mouthfeel with a high amount of carbonation, but not damagingly so. Very crisp on the lips and the alcohol is tucked away nicely.
