Initial aroma was a lemony sourness followed by a small hint of doughiness. As it warmed I got a big banana aroma. The aroma was fantastic and complex with nearly something different with each new smell. It poured a murky dark yellow with a huge off-white frothy head that stayed. Lacing was good. Taste was slightly sweet, acidic and bitter. This is a very well made Trpel! Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Very refreshing for such a big beer and well balanced. mrdeath5493 (108), Arkansas, USA

A complex fruity aroma, consisting mainly of orange. Taste is beautiful and complex. Although the alcohol is noticeable, it is completely balanced with syurpy, buttery esters. Powerful, balanced, and filled with flavor. JoeZasada (142), Beaumont, Alberta, Canada

Pours almost-clear light yellow with a head that keeps going... has a nice beer yeast aroma. The beer is thick, mildly malty with a very complex flavour. You can’t taste the high alcohol content... I’de buy this one anytime! grampageoff (13), arvada, Colorado, USA

Pours a beautiful gold with a thin white head that disappears almost immediately. Nose is citrus, banana, coriander and a hint of alcohol. You can really smell the yeast. Taste is sweet malts, citrus, and a pleasant hit of alcohol. Medium mouthfeel with a nice bubbly carbonation. I like the 3rd glass best because you can pour the yeast. mike67 (84), , New Jersey, USA

Light, crisp, citrus flavor without the syrupy taste of some tripels I’ve tried. Very nice, crisp and refreshing beverage. amckee (11), Plano, Texas, USA

It is sweet, but not overly so. It’s so light and flavorful that you’d hardly believe it has such a high alcohol content. dbarnold (9), Bethesda, Maryland, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 18, 2009 sweet and clean and full, carmel notes as well as strong malts, full flavor, very good
