Plenty of cling to the large lacey head. Sniffed like cooked bananas or ripe papayas. Finished tart. A wonderful brew that I’ll enjoy again and again. sunevdj (1788), Copenhagen OE, Denmark

Pours an unclear orange. Tastes nice and fruity. A bit like a heavy wheat beer. Hides the alcohol well. WhiteAlePower (91), Long Island, New York, USA

I have always meant to try this ale, but never got around to it for whatever reason. Now, here it is! I this this brew is what an abbey tripel should try to be! It had an excellent aroma of citrus, the colour was a darker hazy yellow/amber. The flavour was citrus to hoppy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! stoutchap (297), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Thick rocky head. Starts smooth - some fruit, a little spice and swwetness. Alcohol finish. The funny thing is, it sucks you in - doesn’t seem that strong, but once you’re half-way through your belly is warm and you realize you’ve been drinking an awesome beer. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Nov 21, 2005 If you pour carefully, this beer produces a towering white head that has some staying power. The aroma is fruity/spicy that continues in the taste. The mouthfeel is surprisingly dry for a beer of this strength- appropriate for a triple, and nice. There are hints of apple, a little citrus and mystereous yeast flavors present and it trails off with a long, dry finish. Excellent! gator2683 (141), Anchorage, Alaska, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Cloudy and orange appearance, looks like blue moon. Large white head with a sweet fruity aroma. Taste is initially a sharp citruis, changing to mellow honey with a dry finish. WesKBob (321), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | May 27, 2008 A beautiful beer. Cloudy golden orange color with moderate white head that really lasts and has good lacing. Aroma is light, with citrus, coriander and yeast. Flavor is much stronger than the aroma, with continued citrus, some banana, bread and floral notes and some spice in the finish. I have to disagree a bit with the poster below me--I think the flavor actually hides the 9% ABV very well. It is medium to full bodied with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. A very nice beer and a surprisingly good representative of the style. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA
