Quite similar to Duvel, but a little lighter and cleaner. Pale yellow. Slightly sweet. Quite effervescent. The alcohol is hidden wonderfully. No noticable alcohol aroma, flavor, or even warming. How they hid this much alcohol in a beer this light and delicate is a mystery. An excellent beer! mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia

Some apple & peach notes in the taste. Alcohol flavour is right up front (good thing, people). Very dry wine-like aftertaste. Heaps better than Duvel. Ludwig (60), USA

This is a standout beer that has great estery/banana flavours and could easily be the best beer that i have had made outside Belgium. It certainly tastes a lot cleaner than some of the Belgium beers out there today. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA

Aroma is full of yeast and spice, with some lighter fruits. Perfect balance of malt, yeast, and spcie in the taste, with some hops for a nice bite in the end. One of the best. A little hint of sweetness, finishes very nicely. This is the kind of brew you just sit back and enjoy slowly whilst watching the last minutes of the sun setting and just pondering the universe.
