Only problem with it is that I have to go to New Brunswick to get it they don’t sell it here on the Island. dhurtubise (568), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Although 9% it is very smooth and has a champagne-like effervescent that must be enjoyed out of a Trappist or Brandy galss. This Unibroue treasure is a must try! jimlintott (13), Canada

I seem to have had a new taste experience with every swallow but mostly I was reminded of bananas. You don’t really taste the alcohol but I definately felt it when standing up. The most fun I’ve had with a bottle of beer in a long time. doostinjcap (43), Newport, Oregon, USA

This is my first ale from Unibroue, but I look forward to challenging more of their ales. I don’t know when I’ll be fortunate enough to try it again, but I hope to continuelly witness the ’end of the world!’ Mklein818 (165), Etterbeek, Virginia, Belgium

Drank while watching the last book of Nostradamus on the History Channel, fitting for the name of this brew. Nice chazy golden color. Average sized white head has large bubbles, minimal lacing. A unique aroma; strong malt, fruity, banana notes, belgian yeast, wheat, has soome qualties of a hefeweizen or belgian wit. Flavor is soft, there must be wheat used in good proportion of grist. Slight yeast character and a very slight tartness. Some spice. Malty but with a semi dry bite in the finish. Alcohol well hidden. A very good flavor. Body is medium to full. Excellent. balesjas (41), Huntington Woods, Michigan, USA

Every sip has this fantastic sweetness in it that’s not too sweet, but just right. I like this beer as well or maybe better than some of it’s genuine Belgian counterparts. A bit of alcohol in the taste, but it’s 9%, so that can be expected somewhat. Goes well with cheese.
