Bottle best before 10-04-08. Hazy dirty dark golden/yellow, tiny bits of sediment everywhere, with decent head from somewhat vigorous pour. Fades to film. Highly carnonated, quick swirl brings back decent amount of head. Aroma is very yeasty, with plenty of fruit. Rotten banana, orange peel, pear, with a certain peach/apricot/mango character to it. Corriander and faint alcohol in the background. Flavor much the same. Big yeasty banana up front, zesty orange peel and corriander taking over through the middle and some more banana in the finish. Banana really comes through as it warms. Even for all the unibroue catbonation, has a great mellow/smooth mouthfeel. Highly sessionable beer though. Not a huge tripel fan, but hard to beat when well done.

a delightful fruity smell with the taste of spices and sweetness. I enjoy it perfiously especially since the 9% alocohol gives you that needed kick.

What a delicious brew. Pours with a massive, snow white foamy head that sticks around for a good while. Aroma is an assertive fusion between typical tripel/wheat aromas, I feel, with lots of spicing, yeast, lemon. A sharp, fizzy attack on the tongue is host to many pleasing juices... lemon, fennel, pepper, yeast, a touch of white wine.

Poured a cloudy yellow with a big head. Aroma was full of malts and citrus.Flavor was clean crisp and very refreshing. You could put a six-pack away before you knew it.

Hazy yellow with thick head. Loads of retention with webby lacing. Sweet fruity nose... bananas and yeast with slight alcohol hints. Similar taste with a light spicy character to it. Smooth crisp taste with sharp but somewhat sweet alcohol flavor and warming. This is a great beer.

Bottle (750) pour a slightly hazy golden color with foamy white head. Smell of coriander and orange.Very effervesent. The mouth is made of harmoniously blend :sweetness, alcool, and citrus. Soft bitteness in the end. I’ve enjoy it with kenogami and parmesan cheese

"Body looks to be a honey brown or maybe burnt gold the small but dense cap just won’t go away and being constantly replenished by lots of bubbly carbonation, the body is very hazy with sand like sediment resting at the bottom of the glass. Strong aggressive aroma, wheat and yeast dominate with notes of caramel, and spices (probly cloves) the sent is a touch sour but very complex and yummy. The flavor is not as intense as the aroma but still very ample, alcohol is noticeable but blends nicely with the wheaty tasting malts, I’m getting some citrus notes in the finish. This stuff has tons of flavor wheat, yeast, spice all blending together for a sweet smooth beer. Mouth feel is spectacular smooth full excellent carbonation and has a clean finish. High quality brew tasty and smooth, this was one of the very first high quality craft brews I ever had back in the day and its is just as good now as it was then."
