Bottle. 750ml. Slow poured a hazy amber with a slight white head that quickly dissappeared.Aromas of fruits and malts and hint of banana .The taste was smooth and balanced. The malt and citrusy fruit came through with zest. This is a very well made brew which I will enjoy agin.

In the aroma I detected moderate yeasty dough, clove, and alcohol. In appearance it is cloudy with a golden orange body hue. Initial flavor is sweet and yeasty. Finish duration is average to long. Medium body, very lively carbonation. Overall: I love this ale. I am a big fan of belgian style ales and this one really stood out.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Duvel tulip glass, cloudy yellow golden with a huge white head. (Perhaps an aggressive pour.) Aroma was of sweet citrus fruit, yeast and spice. The taste was very sweet with notes of lemon, orangle peel and other citrus fruits. There were notes of cinnamon, clove and perhaps some banana. Creamy mouthfeel. Little alcohol up front, but it did become more apparent as it warmed. This one reminded me of a hefeweizen like Paulaner, only spicier and sweeter. This one really hit the spot and it’s not even from Belgium. Heresy? We’ll see if it holds up on the re-rate.

Wow. Smells of orange peel and amazingness. This brew has a golden cloudy color. Tastes of clove, banana, citrus, and a taste of the heavens. Active carbonation and tantalizing on the palate. All in all this is a great abbey tripel that is easy to drink and available at many stores.

One of my favorite tripels. Pours an opaque golden color with a good head that persists. The complex flavor and subtle notes are really where this brew shines.

Just like Duvel. The 10th beer I tried at beerfest. Wonderous flavor of yeast. Lite in power but packs a punch. Pretty Damn Good.

from 750ml bottle - need to find my notes from the Unibroue tasting at my local supermarket. Very easy drinking ale. One of my favorites.

Beautiful cloudy orange beer that smells like citrus and spice... Tastes more like spice than fruit and has some bite from the high ABV.. An amazing beer that would not have you believe its as strong as it is
