Incredible beer from Unibroue. When you live in a state with backwards liquor laws like PA, and you have to buy cases of beer, because the nearest bottle shop is either across state lines or over an hour drive, its beers like this that make you happy duriing "blind buys". The tripel smell is present here, notes of honey/sugar and cloves are very present on it. Pour is a nice hazy tripel yellow with a nice foam head. Tastes : Delicious. Very good version of a tripel, refreshingly sweet. Has a great overall presentation, and a fantastic aftertaste. This is one beer that will always have a place in my home.

Pours a golden yellow with a two finger head with some spidery lacing on the glass. Drank out of a wine glass. Aroma is very much like a belgian strong pale ale. The yeast and alcohol can be detected and the malt smells very sugary. The taste is a lot of sweet, sugary malt balanced well with a spicey hop flavour. Interesting flavour and pretty complex while being smooth and highly drinkable. The alcohol is well hidden but the yeast flavour is definately there. Great mouthfeel, smooth with a crisp carbonation. Medium bodied. Very nicely done. Very drinkable, and highly recommended if you’re into Belgian strong ales.

Beautiful cloudy orange beer that smells like citrus and spice... Tastes more like spice than fruit and has some bite from the high ABV.. An amazing beer that would not have you believe its as strong as it is

Golden brown with an off-white head. Tasted notes of young white grapefruit, a mild floral arrangement, and light hops. Highly drinkable, but definitely not abrasive considering the high ABV. Great beer!

Drank this directly after drinking Duvel, which was a nice comparison. It fell just short...a main difference I noticed was a lot less flavor in the malt. Probably was smoother though, nice balance of hops and malt. Could have used a little more in the malt flavoring for perfection, but overall a stand out beer.

This beer poured a golden straw color and formed a bubbly white head that left circular lace. A small amount of carbonation was present. It had an aroma of citrus, spice(?clove) and some yeast elements. The flavor was of spice and citrus with a warming feeling of the alcohol present. The finish was a touch astrigent

Light golden yellow brew, with a cloudy complexion. Sweet citrus smell. Kind of a medicine taste but sweet ending with a little hop kick at the end. Decent abbey trippel.

Actually begins to form a head as soon as you crack the bottle. The color is gold, and hazy from partial filtration. Hard pour. Dense, white head with swirls underneath, like storm clouds. Aroma of fruit, malt, port, cloves and yeast. Mouthfeel is smooth, thick, malty, fruity, and crispy. Excellent hop and malt balance. Flavors of fruit and faint cloves. Great example of a trippel. The alcohol is well masked but warming. Not hard to expect with a brewmaster from Chimay. Excellent.
