More spicy and belgina triple-like than the Eau Benite. Alcohol hardly noticeable. Very good beer! raindog (559), Evansville, Indiana, USA

Peppery, yeast and flowery hops in the aroma with slight bready malts. Soft and slightly, fizzy. Lots of sweet malt, and yeast in the flavor. Finish is slightly yeasty, malty, and hoppy. The first beer I had I actually talked about, the beer that changed my tastes! Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 15, 2002 Giant white head, tons of carbonation. Hazy pale golden hue. Bell pepper aroma as indicated by the mighty Oakes, as well as light spice, light fruit, orange. Alcohol is evident, malts are nice, light to medium bodied, big fruity body, and pepper and dry in the finish. These guys are excellent, im always impressed. The larger cork finished bottles are always better, they mellow and meld flavors nicely with age. WOOOHOO! nlanza (18), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 28, 2004 Great dark golden colour, small head. Lots of citrus and even some bread like notes in aroma. Taste is a perfect balance of fruity notes, mostly banana and some lemon, with enough malt character to cover up the alcohol. Finish is a slight hoppiness that lingers. Good carbonation as well. A friend noted this was a stronger Blance de Chamblay, and while that is simple, I can see where he gets that. The best tasting beer at this alcohol strength that I have had. pfr (121), København, Denmark

Tastes like fruit and has a sweet flavor that gets a little bitter at the end. The alcohol is noticeable but nice. It has a nice creamy and long-lasting head and a hazy golden color, it really is "liquid gold! DTB (51), South Philly, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 15, 2006 This beer pours a light cloudy yellow with a touch of pale green. When held to the light, it changes color to a darker copper. the head pours quite tall and consists of thin and even white bubbles. There is a nice stream of bubbles rising from the bottom of the tulip glass that sustain this head. There is no lace as the head just slips down the side of the glass.
Smells of intense pineapple, dry red apple, bitter yeast, a wheat and oat malt and a bit of watermelon.
Tastes of smooth green grapes with a little sour and dry sting. There are also notes of melon, oats, and smooth creamy yeast.
The mouth feel is light bodied with an intense small bubble carbonation.
The flavor of this beer is very prominent, but mellow enough with a light enough carbonation to make this very enjoyable.
