First, let me say, "a bottle conditioned belgian tripel in a twist top bottle?" Yes, it is. Huge frothy white head, sour malt aroma. Taste of spice and yeast. A high quality tripel. I do not think the alcohol is over pronouced but the again I dont drink much under 8%. It could be that other had it to soon, this will probably age very well.

Tasty. Full fluffy head. Darkish color, taste of yeast and banana. Alcohol is noted but pleasant. Some spice notes. Very good beer.8/4/7/4/16
12 oz. bottle. Deep straw colored with just a slight haze, probably would have been clear if not for the pre-agitation in my backpack. Enormous white head with a careful and gentle pour. Sheets of lacing. Aroma is pleasant, spicey, slightly earthen tone, bits of musty, herbal. Body is light with a pleasant uplifting carbonation. Taste is quite pleasant. Slightly sweetish up front, then shifting to a herbal/earthy taste. Ample bitterness balances out the finish, slightly lingering. Really a pleasant beer, well crafted. Worth the re-rate and bump up in score.

Pours cloudy golden with a white fluffy head and not much lace. Aroma is citrus and coriander some fruits and white bread. Flavor is corriander, some orange peel, grapes, sweet malts. Very complex and quite intrigiuing. The palate is medium bodied but very carbonated and extremely smooth. The spice wins out overall on the palate but it is very blended. A fantastic brew. I truly enjoyed this one..

Bottle (750ml). Bottle courtesy of blankboy. Poured hazy and bubbly yellow-orange with a large foamy-foaming white head. Aroma of lemon, lemon zest, yeast, off-dry white wine, varous spices and a nice earthiness to it all. Taste is very much an ashy-spicy-alcoholic belgian trippel (or strong blond) - the alcohol isn’t shy and the spice and herbal taste keep things interesting. Very lively mouthfeel. I guess it’s more sweet than bitter, but mostly it’s spicy. I’ve always liked this one, but find someone to share a bomber with you - it’s got a mule-kick on it!

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy gold with lasting white head. Yeasty, citrus aroma. Smooth feel with sour yeasty background and flavors of spice and citrus. Slightly sweet, but with a clean, refreshing finish. Very enjoyable.
