Nice triple with malts and bitters in a wel balances beer. Derves to be more available in Europe Sven (229), Lancaster, California, USA

Two-finger head poured, traces of head remained to the last sip. Suberp! Yeasty, clove, corriander, citrus taste. Very complex. Outstanding beer! mainemariner (1), USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Mar 31, 2003 This beer has a brilliant glow, intoxicating aroma, and refreshing zest. I'd drink this beer under any conditions but it really hits the spot after a cold day on the slopes of Monte Sainte Anne. Don't drink the bottom or the 4th fermentation will occur in your stomach! | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 29, 2004 Huge, billowy, lace, white-as-driven snow head, atop a perfectly golden, clear body. Aroma is a sweet array of fruit and spice, standing far above any other particular aspect. Delightful and heavenly. Is it "the End of the World", because it enters us into the next?
Citrusy flavor stands on top, with dazzling hops and a marvelous sparkling sensation on tastebuds. Body is light, and extraordinarily uplighting. This brew handily earns it’s rep as the Canadian stand-in for Duvel. A terrifically engaging, hoppy mouthfeel, and an exceptionally warming feeling make this ideal beer for any sort of celebration, such as Anniversarys, holidays, Wednesdays, midnights, 2:45 A.M.s, anytime you’re exultant that the world hasn’t ended, didn’t get fired, dog still loves you, etc., etc....

Beautiful lacing is seen on the glass. scents of banana and clove waft around a lovely bouquet of light fruit, apples and pears to my nose. Sweet with a spicy backround. Lovely. Explosive musty fruitiness that finishes dry and bitter. Oh God, yes. I can die a happy man. Yeasty, fruity, vinous, alcoholic, oh this is beer I live for. Apple and pear predominate in this vinous, alcoholic brew. Oh yes. Just like a good Belgian Strong Pale Ale. Wonderfully attacking with carbonation and not watery. Excellent. Is this heaven? Dear God, this is good. It looks as good as any trappist and tastes as good, too. Damn I love this beer, especially when it warms. Oh thank God for Unibroue.

The namer refers to Quebec(pictured on the label) as the end of the world, and as far as beligan ales outside of belgium, I must agree. biggenius29 (155), Hamilton, Michigan, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Bottle poured into a Trappist glass. Pours yellow with a huge white frothy head. The head sticks around for the whole beer, but leaves no lacing. Looking at the glass the beer is hazy with alot of carbonation bubbles floating to the top. The aroma is citrusy, orange along with a barnyard yeasty aroma. Taking a drink the first flavor I get is a ever so slight sourness followed by a citrus flavor, mainly orange, after that is a barnyard yeasty flavor followed by a slight bitterness. There is also a apple and pear flavor hidden in there as well. The body is light to medium with a dry and creamy texture and fizzy carbonation.
