Aroma is fruit and spice and unfiltered yeast. Mouth feel is effervescent and complex. Wonderful. Starts with citrus and spice, with subtlety sour yeast and tart lemon. Excellent Tripel. taphandle (34), Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2009 This beer is orange with a white, fluffy head that literally lasts for over an hour. There’s the aroma of citrus, yeast, and spices, and the taste is spicy and of citrus with plenty of carbonation on the tongue. I enjoyed this beer more as it got warmer. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, energetic carbonation culminating in a frothy uneven head. Citrus and bread aroma; smooth tight carbonation on the first sip with some sweet/alcohol dominating. Bread and earthiness, satisfying warming finish.
