Flavor is full of fruit-apple, banana, orange peel, spice, and some hops. This is a very nice beer. Worth keeping one around. Papillon (211), Sudbury, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 29, 2009 750 mL Bottle sampled Dec 25, 2009. Murky yellow-gold body with a soapy head leaving good lace. A bizarre combination of ginger and bubblegum stands out above the grains and hops in the aroma. There is also a hint of ripe banana. Full mellow flavor of peach, orange peel, banana, and pear dominate over the malts and hops. The aftertaste is much the same, the finish has a pineapple sharpness about it. The mouth feel is somewhat sharp. harrisoni (6947), Ashford, Kent, England

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Bottle, already almost two years old, even though this has become a regular product at Unibroue. Very aggressive carbonation in the glass, but no gush from the bottle. Nice clear gold color with abondant and pillowy snow white head. Nice berry and belgian yeast aromas with a bit of spice. Taste is pretty in your face yeasty and loses points for aggressiveness but is overall pretty interesting. The palate is put off by the over aggressive carbonation, yet I detected no signs of infection here. scoth (293), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2009 Pours cloudy amber, with a one-finger off-white head, very fine and lasting lacing. Aromas of orange, caramel, biscuit, coriander, and some light floral notes. Medium-light body, effervescent, crisp, and a tiny bit tart. Flavors of citrus and apple, wheat bread, grass, pepper, and coriander. Sweet and delicate up front, but well-balanced by the lightly tart and bitter finish. Roli (321), laval, Quebec, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 30, 2009 750ml bottle. Amber color, white head that doesn’t last dissepear fast. Fruity (banana, citrus), alcohol presence well hidden. Good brew. But, to a point, its a Unibroue product that feels a lot of other unibroue products.
