Jan 27, 2008 Pours reddish with a fully receding off-white head. Aroma of cherries, sweet candied fruits. Taste is cherries, syrup, raspberries. Mouthfeel is full bodied, lightly sticky with lush carbonation. Tried it room temperature this time, would like to try it again warm.

Jan 27, 2008 0.75 l bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. Hazy red color, virtually no head. Sweet, acidic and cherryish aroma with notes of black currant and almonds. Sweet juicy cherry flavor with some acidity, vanilla and black currant. Too sweet for me.

Jan 24, 2008 Delayed entry from Tasting at Holiday Beerfest in Omaha: Enjoyed this one at near room temperature, which might not have been the best to do. Interesting color was actually remarkable...went from ruby to black depending on the lighting...no head to speak of. Aroma is just ridiculous...cherry, cherry and more cherry with some cinnamon in there as well. Cherry is the dominant flavor with a bit of chocolate in there as well. Flavor lasts long after the sip is over. Very strong alcohol presence for an 8% ABV. Interesting and unique beer!

Jan 23, 2008 consumed warm. Nice color, rather reddish brown.. no head. Nice tart cherries and lemon. rich and deep. Alcohol is not noticeable. Very nice beer.

Jan 19, 2008 Taste of strong cherries and a little bitterness. comfortable smooth palate with a smooth finish. I really liked the natural cherry flavor. I’d buy this one again for a dinner beer.

Jan 18, 2008 I never could even figure out what color this beer really is. It changed with different lighting from red to brown to amber and back again. Tasted chilled at the start. This gave forth a tart grape flavor. As the bottle warmed, a black cherry flavoring became predominate. This is a smooth beer that was very satisfying.

Jan 18, 2008 A bottle that was cellared for 4 years. Poured a rich garnet red. Minimal head. Temperature is room temp. Aroma of cocoa, cherry and lemon. Taste is rich with cherry, vinous notes, vanilla and some chocolate. A little sourness in the finish that takes a bit away from the overall experience. A nice beer that I should have not cellared for as long as I did.

Jan 17, 2008 Dont drink this cold! The is a lot of cherry aroma but the taste is a weird, watered down sour cherry liquer taste. I think I drank it wrong as the commercial desrciption says to drink warm.
