I’m taking the *mulled to "sipping hot" temperature* approach on this one. Maybe the entire nature of this beers varies wildy, based on the serving tempature. So it’s a risk. Here goes! Appearance: Deep (cherry) red in color and sporting almost zero carbonation. Perhaps we gained cherries upon cherries at the expense of the head, but them’s the breaks. Smell: Ripe cherries interspersed with a distinctive spiced aroma. Cinnamon and nutmeg come to mind ("coriander!" my friend AndoBrew bellows). Immediately after heating, it gives off some strong alcohol vapors that thankfully dissipate as the beer begins to cool somewhat. Taste: Quite warm right oughta the double boiler, so I took small, careful sips. Crawl before you can walk. Tart, acidic, and bursting with cherriness as your cheeks burst from the sourness. Occasionally, a cherry lollipop flavor emerges before return to the acidity. The spices are enduring in the flavor as well, with the cinnamon dominating. It suggests a hot cider. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin in body, with just the very, very faintest hint of carbonation. Not overly drying, but the acidic nature of this brew can be a bit puckering at times. Drinkability: Certainly fun to try and experiment with, but I was thankful to have my friend there to split the bottle with.

(75 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Sampled cold. Clear red brown color, small white head. Sweet cherry and cherry pips scent. Cherry and cinnamon taste. Full mouthfeel, though low co2. Medium bitterness. I can imagine this as a perfect winter drink when served hot.

The cherry bomb. Pour is darker red with a pink head. Cherries, clove, cinnamon, and dark fruits in the nose. Massive cherry assault up front, with a good cinnamon-spice in the back. Some cough-syrup like flavors initially, but these went away when it warmed.

CBF07 sample from 22 oz. bottle. Pours brown/amber. Aroma of raisins, alcohol and general dried fruit. Flavour is distinct sour cherry with a, for my liking, too sweet flavour. Very fruity and sweet. Finish is sweet, too sweet - again. Overall too sweet for my taste, but honestly a good brew.

Sampled at brewfiend’s small gathering with Johnsonville bratwursts, pours a hazy reddish dark brown brew with no foamy head. Aroma of cherries, sweet plums, and some clove spices. Taste has character like gingerbread with a touch of sour cherries. Finish is slightly tart.

This was a good one. Sour cherry nose on this dark read beer with no head. Smooth sweet cherry body.

Bottle. Red-brown. Sweet aroma of fruits and spices. Fruity cherry flavour with spices, yeast and a bit woody.

Pours a deep cherry color with a white head. Aroma is of sweet malts and cherries. Flavor is malty, cherries, and spices, cinnamon.
