| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2006 Looks a bit like apple juice, fairly small head. Smelled pretty good, full of apples, cinnamon, maple and sweet honey. Texture was quite light, a bit thin, but the taste of dark cherries and slightly sweet honey is pretty good. reebtogi (77), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2006 I first tried a glass of this as recommended hot. I did not like. I preferred it cold. Very rich in cherry flavour, a little too fruity for a beer in my opinion, much more like a cider. Otherwise a fine drink. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 29, 2006 Tastes a bit like cherry cider. Tart and sour. Good bit of apple flavor on top of the cherry. Somewhat musty. Pretty good amount of spices, including nutmeg and cinnamon. Not sure why they chose to bottle it still. Hardly resembles a beer, but is still a tasty beverage. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 22, 2006 Bottle. Dark, red color, nice whitish head. Lovely cherry aroma. Very flavorful, stong cherries, yeast and a very warming alcohol afterburn. Drank it moderately cold (I can’t drink hot beer either, after having hot pilsners in Germany!). footbalm (1218), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

I had this warm and cold. Warm was a little better as the heavy fruit flavor was very fine. the alcohol was present but all part of an interesting treat. LadySusan (488), Ste-Therese, Quebec, Canada
