Bottled. Hazy dark amber. Wonderful creamy-ish aroma with mostly figs, kind of velvetty. Rich tidbitty flavour from prune, Seville Orange and licorice. Also quite malty and with small notes of ginger. A bit frothy mouthfeel but this will turn creamy and velvetty in a year or two. Very well balanced. Thanks to Dixen for bringing this from Naestved.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a medium frothy tan head and lined lacing. Fruity oak cellared (cobweb) yeast aroma with medium roasted caramel malt and peach notes. Alcohol and moderately acidic caramel malt, hoppy fruit and yeast (dough) flavor with wheat and prune notes. Dark and full bodied fizzy and slightly dry palate.

First off, I think my bottle was flat. I drank it anyway, though. No head, very dark brown, fruit aromas. Gotta try it again just to make sure. Rerate. Fresh bottle right from Unibroue. Light, fruitty a bit tart and also sweet. Subtle flaovrs of malt, spice and lemon zest.

Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of plums, raisins, carmel and hint of brown sugar. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of pineapple, toffee, dark fruit and pepper with a sweet, warming finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown with a large frothy light-brown head. Lots of nice bubble action. Aroma and flavour of sweet malt, dark fruit, alcohol, banana and spices. Medium body with a little too much carbonation. Not as good as I remembered but still very enjoyable and one of my favourite Unibroue beers.

This brew poured a large invigorating tan head with fine-small bubbles that quickly dissolved. The lacing was sparse on the sides of my glass. The body was a reddish brown. The aroma was fruity and sweet. This brew had a smooth taste and a good mouthfeel. I REALLY, REALLY enjoyed drinking this brew!! Do we have more of this one thedm??

Had as part of a flight at the Washington House Unibroue beer tasting. This was the fourth I had in the flight. Floral aroma that poured a mahogany in color. Some citrus candied sugar and molasses in the aroma. Can sense the alcohol in the initial taste. Tingles on the tongue. Another nice beer from Unibroue.
