Another great Unibroue beer. Can they make a bad one? Strong maltiness and sweetness in the first whiff. Wafting more reveals slight fruitiness and some wheat aroma. The taste reminds me of a bock beer mixed with a strong Belgian ale. Finishes very smooth with a hint of fruit and chocolate. Well worth seeking out and trying. Highly recommended!

Dark beer with a light and initially frothy head. The aroma is very, very light and the flavour is fruity but again very light and not as strong as what you would expect from the alcohol percentage. Overall quite a plain and ulimately disappointing beer.

Alcohol is hidden well - mixed in with many other fruit flavors. Nice deep dark ruby red appearance with a long-plasting thin white head. Aroma - not very remarkable - but pleasant. Good after dinner beer - to be enjoyed like a fine wine or port.

Bottle from Gammel Strand, Copenhagen. I’ve looked for this for quite some time. Hazy dark brown, lively carbonation. An explotion of taste. Lots of fruit, sweet and sour, well balanced sipping beer. Apricots, plums, sour cherry. Dry finish exposing the hops.

Bottled(330ml). -Brownish/ruby coloured, pale brown head, spicy fruity nose. Nice lace with lots of small bubbles on the glass. Roasted malt and spicy aroma with notes of dried fruits, yeast and cinnamon. Great beer. This was my fifth Unibroue, and I simply like them all.

Dark brown with an off white head. Sweet fruity aroma, gentle and soft, with yeast and leather. Taste of raisin and other dark fruits, with sweet malt, spices and liquorice. Very, very good.

Hazy brown color, off-white medium creamy head. Aroma is chocolat, malty, slight alcohol sharpness, fruity also, raisin. Taste of roasted malts, chocolat, raisin. Slight alcohol burn, long lingering palate. Expectations were high, but this beer could match up with them!

Deep dark red colored with little ligth brown head. Sweet ripe fruity, plummy, spicy aroma with some raisinny vinous touch, good one, some dark chocolate and thin hosp also here. Medium to full bodied, smooth palate. Flavor is even richer with more chocolate and spices, aftertaste turns to nicely wooden with port vinous note and mild alcohol. Aftertaste lasts with port. Excellent flavor with fine balance. and smooth palate.
