Commercial Description:
Strong Belgian type ale similar to a Port wine ! Is as dark as can be, mellow in taste with an aroma of ripe fruits. It can be compared to an old porto and is brewed from well roasted malt.

12 oz bottle. Dark redish color, thick white head that lasts quite some time. Strong belgian ale flavor that actually is quite sweet with a hint of berry.

Pours dark brown, reminds me of Coke. Subtle aroma of dark fruit. Highly carbonated, sweet taste, dark fruit and maybe a slight root beer taste.

Yummy Belgian style. Aroma of yeast, raisins and prunes. Beer pours much darker than most Belgians. Large head that mostly dissipates. There is a small amount of lacing. There is a lot going on in the flavor department. Multiple layers of flavor beginning with a light malt introduction, this is quickly followed by a deluge of yeast and spices. Finally the brew finishes lightly acidic with a good dose of alcohol. This is an ale to be savored. Thank God for ales of this caliber which are easily accesible.

75cl bottle. I will definitely try his beer again. Very well produced. Poured a hazy dark brown colour. The aroma and flavour are ripe with spicy fruit and floral notes. Great beer.

Bottle. Muddy brown pour with an orange tint and beige head. Aroma of malty fruit (prunes), light roast, belgian-like spicing and yeast. Flavor of dark fruit and other lightly citric fruit, grassy and spicy yeastiness, candy sugar; overall sweet but balanced with spices and yeast. Nice palate, the same as other unibrous. Enjoyed this beer.

Dark black malt aroma and sherry soaked fir. Very dark ruby color, slippery white head. Very much dark malt forward, some dusty chocolate and squishy ripe plum. Quickly warm with alcohol, somewhat light in body.
