Commercial Description:
Strong Belgian type ale similar to a Port wine ! Is as dark as can be, mellow in taste with an aroma of ripe fruits. It can be compared to an old porto and is brewed from well roasted malt.

In a bottle, a personal favorite. A dark belgian with lots and lots of taste. Its Fruity its spicy and its strong but the alcohol flavor is well hidden. Try it you wont regret it!

Rating 250, quarter of the way to beergod status. 12 oz. bottle poured into tumbler- poured semi-transparent very darken amber, tan head slowly bubbled away, light carbonation. Aroma of yeast and a touch of sweetness (almost a lab quality sucrose). Hits the mouth with a great medium body, fruits and sweetness dictate the tones, and kicks you in the mouth. Very little, if any, hops can be noticed; alcohol not very noticeable at all. If I had to choose one word to describe it, it would be UNDERRATED!

12oz bottle. Smells of spice and nut. Very dark brown with full body. Larger sized head with smooth carbonation. Strong malt taste with semi-bitter aftertaste.

Pours nearly pitch-black-ruby with a few fingers of head with a soapy head that lingers. Strong odor of plum, malt, and caramel. Strong plum and sugar malt taste which ends with a warm alcohol aftertaste. A good, complex quad.

Pours dark brown with a nice foam. I like this a lot. High in alcohol but it’s good balanced.

Incredible! This is fine, fine stuff. First thing I noticed was a burst of aroma, flowing out of the bottle, full of alcohol, dark fruits (figs or raisins), combined with roasty malt. It’s poured a very dark-reddish color with a reddish foam head. Nicely carbonated. It’s flavor was very complex with fruits, vinious texture, alcohol, and roasty malt. It’s smooth and right. Nice cool, nice warm. Not abrasive whatsoever.

Pours a opaque dark nut brown with a beige head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity, with good amount of malts. Flavor was pretty complex...mixed dark fruit with roasted chocolate malt and a dry, crisp yeast finish. Not too shabby.
