Commercial Description:
Strong Belgian type ale similar to a Port wine ! Is as dark as can be, mellow in taste with an aroma of ripe fruits. It can be compared to an old porto and is brewed from well roasted malt.

Strong aroma of a variety of fruits, and incrediby complex, although many flavors come thorugh distinctly. Alcohol present but not overwhelming. My favorite brew from this company.

Bottle aged for 1 year - poured a dark ruby color with a dirty white head. Sweet fruity aroma with a sweet fruity taste hiding the alcohol. Starts with a carbonated feel on the tongue that dissipates as the drink is swallowed. Leaves the mouth craving more. Definitely recommend trying this beer aged.

Now my favorite beer. 12oz bottle courtesy of new Alabama beer laws! Aftertaste is what is remarkable -- has a spicy finish that is truly unique compared to all beers I have ever found. Sweet but not overdone. Bitter but not too bitter. To me it had a marked fruitiness instead of the coffee/molasses/smokey taste found in many strong ales. Luckily, I bought 6 of these!

This is definitely one of my favorite beers. Very unique taste. Pours a dark ruby color, not very thick, with a light head that dissipates fairly quickly. Smells and tastes of raisins and grapes with a hint of banana. Sweet not bitter.Alcohol well hidden...great bottle as well by the way... bonne biere quebecoise

Bottle 355ml. A delicious treat. Rich aroma of dark fruit, port, alcohol, and yeast. Flavour is sweet, with long-lasting bitterness to finish. Syrupy in the palate, and medium-bodied. Dark brown in the glass, cloudy, with a fizzy white head.
