blipp (809), Grand Island, New York, USA Apr 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours very dark and cloudy brown with a beige head that never really goes away. Aroma is sweet ripe fruit, almost like a nice red wine, with notes of cherry, berry, prune and apricot. Full and velvety body. Flavors are subtle and never overpowering. Berry, plum, peach, yeast, raisin, and probably much more my unworthy palate can’t find. Very nice, very well balanced, easy to drink.
Pyobon (170), Sydney, Australia Oct 7, 2008 Bottle. Very dark brown, almost black with excellent dense head. Pleasant somewhat fruity aroma with hints of marmalade and raisins. Medium body with wonderfull carbonation. Somewhat fruity refreshing foretaste with a rich aftertaste that verges on cloying, almost balanced with some bitterness. A great beer. hirigalzkar (43), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 5, 2008 Bottle. Black with a small but thick head. Kind of shy but nice fruity aroma. Wonderfull taste!
