A Dortmunder/Export-style beer. Wonderful nose of German noble hops to go with it’s deep golden color. Long lasting creamy white head. Smooth right to the crisp finish. Very refreshing. Hey, where are the growlers? :) Nejhleader (931), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma was malty, toasty and has a hint of fruit. The flavor is malty with a light hop finish. Long dry and bitter finish. Light-medium bodied. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 16, 2007 Draft. Turbid deep gold pour with off-white head. This is perhaps the most turbid lager I’ve ever seen. Aroma of hopcitrus, pale honey malt. Tastes of pale malt, with mid-palate honey, giving way to some finishing hops and citrus. Medium to light palate heft. Dickinsonbeer (3517), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Although, the first sample I had, was real nice and to style, I think the pint I ordered afterwards was either not ready yet, or an entirely different beer. The small sample was pretty damn good thoughh for a dortmunder. Nice clear golden, fluffy lasting white head. Aroma is nice bready malts, crisp clean hops, and a touch of mineral salts. Good bready malt flavor, cut by a clean herbla and lighlty spicy hop finish. Clean and easy drinking. argo0 (7025), Washington DC, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 2, 2007 Good lager here... golden color and pretty cloudy, which I didn’t expect. But very smooth and seemed to have a tiny bit of sweetness or fruitiness in the flavor. Maybe I was just wasted. alexanderj (2284), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Tap at the brewpub. Poured a dark gold, almost a light orange. Aroma was mostly of malt and citrus. Flavor was much of the same, some honey and didn’t pick up much hops. Good mouthfeel; pretty good for the style.
