Aroma is grassy/floral hops and some matly notes. Flavor is much the same - the hops are slightly bitter. Very nice drinking. Tasty. This was probably my favorite of the sampler. fata2683 (871), Panama City, Florida, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 28, 2009 On handpull, @ UBW. Pours a mostly clear amber body with a nice creamy off-white head. Light aroma of leafy hops and a bit of toasty and caramel malts. The flavor is fairly green and leafty bitter hops with a very light malt base, toasty and dry. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a nice cask conditioned carbonation level. Overall, just your basic APA, decent, but not a stand-out. afireinside96 (827), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 20, 2008 On draft and on cask at the brewpub. Light amber color topped by a fluffy white head. Smells of earthy, grassy hops, faint citrus. Taste is very similar with a touch of caramel. Somewhat on the dry side for a pale ale but that is how I like my hoppy beers. I think this was the best one that I tried during my visit to the Barrel Works. Cruzan59 (197), Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2008 On draught at brewer. Huge Goldings nose! Hazy amber pour with lots of soapy lace. Pale malts, biscuits and flour notes grace the tongue, with a nicely clean dry-hopped finish. Cleanses the palate decently. Dry citrus notes come in at the back of the pull, still bittered. A bit reminiscent of an American take on the English ESB. BillKismet (1930), Seattle, Washington, USA
